Thank you — all of these practices have been very helpful. I’ve assigned many of them to my clients, and they serve beautifully as an introduction to mind–body awareness.
What I’ve observed, however, is that as clients grow more attuned and embodied, they reach a stage where these foundations feel complete. They’re ready for practices that engage a deeper layer of body awareness and self-regulation — more experiential, somatic-experiencing–inspired processes that support trauma release and integration.

Hi Joanna,
Thank you for sharing your suggestion! We may already have some activities in Quenza that align with what you are looking for. Here are a few examples:
- Progressive Muscle Relaxation, which guides you to tense and release muscle groups to build awareness of tension and relaxation
- Body Scan Meditations, which bring mindful attention to sensations throughout the body
- Deep Breathing exercises, which focus on calming the nervous system and deepening awareness of the breath
- The 3-Minute Breathing Space, a short practice for quickly reconnecting with breath and body awareness
- Emotional Awareness Meditation, which helps you explore how emotions show up physically in the body
- The Sensory Countdown Technique, a grounding practice that uses the senses to return to the present moment
- The Observer Self Meditation, which cultivates awareness of bodily sensations and emotions without over-identifying with them
- The Brief Emotion Check-In, which invites you to notice feelings and where they are experienced in the body
- Sitting Meditation, which encourages stillness, awareness of breath, and embodied presence
Would you say these are the kinds of practices you were hoping for? Or are you thinking more of specialized breathwork approaches such as box breathing or alternate nostril breathing, or somatic experiencing–inspired practices that focus more directly on trauma release and body-based regulation?
This will help us understand whether you are looking for more of what we already offer, or if you have something different in mind that we could consider adding.
